Contained in the Hilda King range is a series of phonic based materials. These include Learning Phonics Kits 1 and 2 that have a synthetic approach to phonics. They contain audio tapes and worksheets. There is a series of Crosswords. Word Searches and Tree Worksheets which use the same sounds as in the kits. The worksheets can be used independently or to complement the kits. Additionally Cloze and Phonic Activities Books 1 - 4 are based on initial, medial and final sounds, whereas books 5 - 7 contain initial blends and book 8 contains final blends. Some of these blends can also be found in the Learning Phonics kits. Also available is phonological Awareness and the Onset and Rime series of Early Learners and Readers. |
